As many are aware, Pope Leo XIV released his first Encyclical Letter titled Magnifica Humanitas: On Safeguarding the Human Person in the Time of Artificial Intelligence on May 25, 2026.  It consists of an introduction, five chapters and a conclusion, with 224 paragraphs and the same number of footnotes at 117 pages long.

We at Sanctifying Grace realize that everyone does not have the time to read and digest the encyclical in its entirety. For this reason and because its contents affect every living being on this planet, we have tried our best to break the encyclical into manageable, approachable sections for you and are offering these shorter summaries for you here.
