DAY 37 - BAPTISM OF AUGUSTINE

Following his unconditional conversion to Christ, Augustine resigned from his prestigious position as a teacher of rhetoric. He chose to withdraw quietly during a scheduled vacation to avoid making a spectacle or drawing unnecessary attention to himself.

Augustine traveled to Milan to be baptized by Bishop Ambrose. He was baptized alongside his son, Adeodatus, and noted a profound changes thereafter.
