DAY 29 - OUR DESIRES VERSUS GOD’S

Augustine begins to distance himself from the Manichaean sect. Disillusioned, Augustine decided to move to Rome. To do so, he tricks his mother, Monica, who refused to let him leave without her, into staying behind at the seashore while he secretly boarded a ship. Things are spiraling for Augustine now, and the hand of God begins to show itself in Augustine's life.
